Everyone Says That They Love to Travel...
...and I don't doubt that they do, but I believe it's a very important aspect to life in many ways besides leisure. This is why I decided to separate my experiences as its own page. Traveling is a great way to discover yourself, understand other cultures, and learn about things that you simply can't get out of a textbook or an Buzzfeed article. Below you will find some of the places I've been to and where I plan on visiting next!
A 19 Year Old Travels To China
In the summer of 2007, I was given the opportunity to intern for Notch Novelty, a manufacturing company with a main office in Shanghai, China. I credit this experience as to what started my love for travelling. I've begun to write about this and you can read about it here - My Trip To Shanghai, China
The Road Trip Across U.S.A
After completing my internship in August I flew back to New York and spent about 12 hours in my home city, before flying to San Francisco to embark on a road trip. You can learn so much about the U.S by driving through it, below is a map of the route I took with some of my friends. I plan on reflecting on these experiences in the near future which I'll post on here.
Europe Study Abroad Trip
Upon arriving back in New York I was home for about 2 weeks before I left for Europe. I decided to study abroad for the semester - best decision I ever made! Since this trip was very comprehensive I'll have to expand on it, but in the meantime you'll be able to see the places I visited which are listed below.
Future trips coming soon!
